Hey Mark. The first comment I have always gotten, when it came to tires on my
bikes, goes something like this:"how the hekk do you always keep the middle
groove & bald the sides?"or"Your tire's a triangle!!!'' or "stop looking for
the edges, you'll never find them" things like that. Many people have tried &
regularly install 190 tires on 5.5" rims, & they love them as well.Maybe it
is lower . But considering that it will be on a 5.5" rim it will sit
taller than on a 6" rim. So at least some of the lost height will be
compensated for & negate some of the unwanted characteristics. Now as far as
the rubbing thing is concerned. It's gotta be 50\50.Unless somebody's tried
it.Peter Piazza
