You all are going to think I'm crazy, but I change my oil once per year and
the AMSOIL filter every 6 months. I'm using Series2000 20w50. In my cars I
use the 0w30. In them I change the oil and the filter as above. AMSOIL
also makes an oil that is good for 7500 mile intervals instead of the yearly
if you are uncomfortable with the longer interval. I've been doing this for
close to 20 years in all of my vehicles to no ill effects that I am aware
of.
