This has happened to me a couple of times. Both times it was the result of
not moving the ignition key smoothly from Off/On. We are blessed(?) with a
special anti-theft ignition that doesn't like anything but a quick and
positive transition to the ON position. Otherwise, it thinks it's being
stolen. Next time, simply toggle it back to off, wait a few seconds and
switch back to on.
