Kevin, I also used the same Prestone 5/150 long life coolant in my GTS.  Of
course, I have no idea why "no silicates" is good.

  And I like GM's too !! (well, except most Buicks).

Yes, there are two drain bolts, one on each side of the engine that need to
be removed to drain the coolant. If you don't have a service manual, send
me a fax number and I'll send the pages to you tomorrow. I'm also using the
extended life antifreeze by Prestone in the silver jug. Works great and has
no silicates! I've heard some bad things though about it's use in GM
products. Then again, I've heard some bad things about GM products in
general! :^)

Check the service manual, I believe to get a proper flush you have to
remove
some drain bolts from the engine head, but it has been a while since I have
done it.  I did use the extended drain coolant, but I have heard mixed
reviews.  My buddy (a Chevy mechanic) indicated that if the engine was
"seasoned" with regular coolant, then the extened drain coolant would not
help much.  He did say it would not hurt anything.
