We also have extreme winds in southern New Mexico, at least during the
spring months. The day I did a long back-to-back ride of the GTS and the
(at that time just introduced) K1200RS, I found ours to be better in the
wind. In fact, I've never found a comparably sized, fully-faired bike
that's as easy to ride in a cross wind as the GTS, and I've ridden in
enough winds to know, living where I do.

HiWay 93.....yep. In 1973/74 I lived on that road, north of Golden, and
yikes!! Very windy. Rocky Flats, or the NCAR facilities.......lots and
lots of windy days and nights.

P.S. Semis get blown over on the freeways here too.
