Thanks for your help.
We have now switched the EFI box from my friends bike and vice versa with
the conclusion that the EFI box has broken down. With by EFI box on my
friends bike the bike runs well, and with my friends EFI box on my bike, my
bike has the same problem.
The problem seems to be that the fuel feed to cylinder 2 and 4 are blocked.
According to the Yamaha dealer, my friend will have to buy a new EFI box
(actually they already ordered one). The cost for the EFI unit is somewhat
immoral, NOK 19.952, i.e. USD 2.000. From what I learn from this list, this
is about 30% of a "new" GTS in the states.
The new EFI box will be delivered on monday, and then we are ready for a one
week holliday.
