I'm 5'9" or 10" and used to think the stockers were a
bit too forward.  Now I feel like they are tillers,
when I get off my SV60s.  So it's not only how you
ride and your size, it's what you are used to.

The TDM with superbike kit is almost a cruiser, in
comparison.
