There's no need to trim the painted side panels when installing the givi
rack.
I jus installed one a few weeks ago. I did notice that it's a tight fit, but
I have a few millimeters between the rack and the painted panels.

I do know that some people use a diversion 900 rack and convert it to fit
the GTS. Might that be the problem?
