Perhaps there are two permutations of the mounting
brackets or the 94's might be different than the 93's,
but my '93 definitely needed notching--by about the
thickness of the bracket itself--about .25". If it
fits, great, if not, then notch it. P.S. looking @
this bracket it would be hard to install incorrectly.
