For us newbies to the list, what all did you do to your bike, why and how,
and most importantly, do you have pictures??
I'm especially interested in the 6speed tranny and dual exhaust! What about
the seat? Did you get a corbin or have yours reworked by Sargent?

Good morning fellow GTS'ers out there. My GTS is done. I did my first 100km
last night. Everything is behaving just like it should. The 6 speed tranny
is a wonderful thing. The motor is silky smooth (I'm quite surprised
actually at how smooth it is). The dual exhaust is simply great (in looks &
sound). The EFI is is working great as well (I haven't noticed any power
surge or flat spot so far, anyway). The Ohlins dampers are great & I haven't
even started to dial them in. The ABS system is also ready & willing to do
its thing. I can also say that the handling is very surprising for such a
beast. This is the best handling & most confidence inspiring Tourer that I
have ever ridden. I already feel right at home on this bike. The only thing
that actually took some getting used to is the wide seat. This is a
wonderful machine that promotes long distance riding & I have plans for when
she is all broken in. Well that's all I got for now. Time for the first
inspection & oil\filter change........ It was definitely worth the effort,
money, patience and everything else required to bring this unique beauty to
this level. I'm one extremely happy GTS'er. Catch you all later. Ride safe,
