Hi Bob. Sorry for the delay in response. Here is a brief rundown.I ended up
changing the OEM pistons with a set of JE 1.5mm o.s. with a theoretical bump
in compression to12.5:1 . The tranny was changed to a 6 speed unit from a
retired 0W01. The cyl. head got a porting & a valve job. The exhaust is
comprised of a SS multipiece header, the mufflers are aftermarket
replacement units originally destined for a XXX & the collector that makes
it all come together is an inhouse unit which also houses the O2 sensor. I
however, can't give you any comparison report with a stock GTS since I never
tried 1. I can say though, that my GTS is very eager to fly. Uhum!!! I mean,
my GTS is very eager to traverse long distances.Be good Ride safe. Peter
