Louis, are you sure you dont have that backwards ?  You change your filter
every 3000, but oil at 6000 ?

maintenance? :)  The lowest service integral I use is 3000 miles, I change
my oil filter.  At 6000 miles I change the oil and
filter.  I am not a high mileage rider like some on the list, but I try to
put some miles on my bikes.
