Wow, 40k on the sprockets and there's not enough wear to warrant replacement? I adjusted my chain slack to manual spec and it made a noticeable whining noise that sounded like it was coming from the drive shaft. Now I push the chain up against the rear swing arm to aprx.1-1.5 total travel. I'd rather pay for sprockets and chains than some bearing that involves engine removal ;-)
