The engine light can come on when one of the components in the EFI system has been disconnected , i.e. the lambada sensor , the air temperature sensor in the airbox etc etc. It's warning you of a fault , but the bike may still run ok , it's brought the light on because the EFI control box is not receiving the expected signals from the component .
Does the bike still have the original collector box with the lambada sensor fitted , does it still have the original airbox . Just some idea's atb Nick T
