Hello again. I've also thought of the heli-bars but I've looked around at a
few various web-sites & have found that the heli-bars suite less than half
the people that have tried them. The superbike bars on the other hand can be
more suitable to the particular rider becuase the bars are easy &
inexpensive to change once the conversion is made to accomodate them.
However I personally don't like the way they clutter up the triple clamp
area & on the GTS especially where the dash is quite stuffed like trying to
read the clock for example while riding. I have come up with an alternative
which I will implement as soon as I finish another project that I'm working
on (it's in the final stages). I will achieve a new more comfy riding
position & I will clear up the dash without having to go either the heli-bar
or superbike bar way. It'll also be easy to install on the existing hardware
without having to do extensive mods or machining. I'm making it so that it
can be a relative bolt-on affair & the amount of height will be up to the
individuals needs. I'll get the pic's available as soon as it's ready. More
to come. Be good. Peter Piazza.
