Hello Kevin. I think the best description would be to let a picture tell its
thousand words. As far as marketing them ? Thanks for the offer, but I don't
know. There aren't many GTS's out there. Plus, I'm not on this list to
solicit work or business. I have been thinking of this alteration for a
while & my goal is to keep the cockpit area as clean & as clutter free as
possible. I think this idea will be in keeping with that theme. The aim is
to place the bars 2 to 3 inches wider 2 to 3 inches higher & 2 to 3 inches
closer to the rider . They should also have some leaway for adjustability.
After I'm done if there is anyone on this list that may be interested then
we can try to help them out. I say help because making 1 off parts are time
consuming & the variations are plentiful. As you mentioned everyone is built
different & would have different dimensions to be catered to.I will add
that what I will conceive can be made to accomodate anyone. I would have
been done by now, but I'm sure you know how it is when you have more than 1
toy to play with. At the present I'm completing a mega powered engine (non
GTS) because, well, I am a power freak & love to fly. I broke the 300kph
mark more than 10 years ago & now the quest for the +400kph mark is well
within reach. I have this unending need for it. Having a bike shop & being
involved with bikes for some 20 years or so, I have ridden some pretty wild
things, but, I've yet to feel what too much power or speed is like. The
quest for the ultimate rush seems to always take precedence. What can I say
, it's my flaw but I can't help it. More to come. Be good. Peter Piazza.
