Bill,

The medical folks have me taking Vioxx at this time. I haven't had any
prior experience with this type of injury, but the Vioxx seems to be working
pretty good.

I wish you the best of luck in your future ABS road testing. When the
system is working it's actually kind of fun. When it fails though...

Take care,
Duane

Peril

Duane
Good luck with the knee.

<snip>

Since the HU is designed not to interfere with normal braking action
when it has even the slightest problem & it doesn't actually have
anything to do with keeping or holding in the hydraulic pressure ( it
releases pressure).

<snip>

It's my understanding that the HU contains a pump & replaces the
pressure it releases. Otherwise very quickly you'd have the brake lever
against the grip & no brakes at all until you released & reapplied the
lever.

Thanks for the warning but I'll go on testing mine. I'd rather dump the
bike on a deserted road than find out it quit when I'm in a panic
situation.

Keep us in the loop on your ABS findings. By the way, I've found
Naproxin sodium (aleve) works better for me than Ibuprofin.

Bill
