Rick, I think by the responses people have been sending in I'll be going with the Kimpex under grip type heaters. Funny enough the inner bar heaters I bought (that were too large to fit inside the GTS bars) were Kimpex also.
As for the Numb Bumb 24 hour ice race; yes it went well. Our club timed/lapcounted the entire event and it was great. Man can some of those guys RIDE!!! One of the most impressive stories this year was of a woman who rode the entire event by herself with one bike. All the other teams were really that......teams, with more than one person. And to top that off she has only been riding for about a year! Wow, that kinda makes me feel like a wussie for complaining after riding in the summer on paved roads for 16 hours straight to Hyder, Alaska.
