Rob, That's an incredible story! I didn't know about the no return policy. I bought mine during Bike Week of 97 and was told of a "Special Bike Week price". I later found out it was no "special " price at all. Quality control is very poor on these products and would NEVER pass in any other industry. Ditto for customer service. I special ordered mine and did not want the back rest hole in the rear. Of course, it arrived with the hole in the rear, covered with a Corbin emblem that was sewed on crooked. I was so excited about the seat that I accepted it when it arrived UPS and have looked at the crooked emblem ever since. The crooked emblem draws attention like a crooked picture on a wall and people point it out and lift the velcro tab before I can say anything. There they find an UGLY hole to nowhere and say "What's this for?" Very embarrassing to say the least. The pan weights a ton over stock and wore my paint off the side covers. Quality is hit or miss. I had ordered a Corbin for my ZX7 prior to the GTS and it fit perfect. Never realized how lucky I was. When the time comes for a reskin on my GTS seat I'll probably have Sargent or some other recover it just out of principle.
