You will probably find it MUCH easier to do the next time if you drill a 1
inch hole in the centerstand bracket (on the exhaust side) so the linkage
bolt can be pulled out without having to take off the sidestand.  Of course
this isn't a problem if you can find another way of suspending your bike
while you work beneath it.
