You couldn't replace H3 to H4...different shape off sockets, wiring...and
the reflector differs too...

The "H3" place in the headlight has a single design for a High-Beam Bulb.

Dave,
What if the H3 was replaced with a H4 so you had
2 low beams on at once. Just a thought. My Kawasaki
had dual H4's and low beam light was awesome.
