You guys are missing the point...the price point that is. In the earlier
years people bought bikes and got rid of them every 3-4 years like cars.
Now there's 350 on the list that might fight to the death to release even
one of our bikes. That doesn't bowed well for a manufacturer. They want
you to recycle your cycle!

A price point under 12,000 for what this bike represents in today's
technology is fine. I can't afford a BMW, and after ridden one...I'd buy 3
used GTS's to equal their price. But a new bike that would be all you
desire Thor (less the naked chick tangent)...I'd pay 12,500...and I hope
Yamaha knows that. The magic number isn't 10K...because you can't begin to
compare this bikes manufacturing costs, safety features and technology to
anything close to the iron horse of a Concours (no offense intended COG
riders) Kawasaki can't sell their bike at $7,500...even though it's a
pretty decent bike for that price...the GTS is far superior in every
way...and I'm willing to pay for that if I ever need too

Right now...she's sleeping in my garage though!
