Good point! I'm looking for about 10% reduction on rev's. How about using larger front sprocket and 44 tooth back sprock? Did you gain any gas mileage improvement with smaller back sprocket?
Thanks again... >>> "nicholas.threader" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 09/23 2:40 PM >>> Be aware that using a 42 rear sprocket means that the chain gets closer to the swing arm , on the top run of the chain . So you won't wont to allow your chain to become to slack . I'm using a 44 tooth with no problems . You'll find using a 42 that your pull away won't be as fast , but your rev's will be reduced to your road speed , giving better cruising ( most noticeable in top gear ) . atb Nick T SA#12 --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
