Good point Carlos...actually in the mountain area of Colorado it's hard to find accomodation that doesn't have a hot tub...I'll look into the campground/cabin option too, but it seems as though many would prefer a (cheap) hotel. Maybe somewhere with a cheap hotel near a campground? Might be pushing it...

The vast majority of gatherings I've been to have been at campgrounds, either with or without cabins or bunk houses. These allow us to hang out together, perhaps around a fire or something. It seems to be that a hotel would be expensive and not conducive to socializing. Just my opinion, of course. I lobby for a campground like the Rider's Roost or Blue Ridge Cycle camp, here in the south east.
