This is exactly why I didnt purchase from Yamaha. I was at the Longbeach
show Sat also and let one of the reps know what I thought of their pussy way
of selling their product. Yamaha has whined and cried that there was not
sport touring market for the past 4 years while the other manufacturers have
done their homework and developed very good lightweight sport tourers. Some
of you know that I have sold my GTS and I looked for a FJR and of course none
were available, so I tested and purchased a Aprilia Futura . I also tested
and considered the Ducati ST4 and Triumph sprint ST. I considered the Honda
VFR also but no bags and the seating is crowded.
If Yamaha doesnt get off their ass they will continue to lose potential
customers.
