This discussion prompted me to dig out my service manual and run the test. What does it mean if I get the proper behavior on the front brake lever, but not the rear brake pedal? IOW, the front brake lever collapses towards the handlebar, and then is pressurized back to normal position, but there's no reaction what-so-ever on the rear brake pedal. I can hear the pump operating, and it's obviously supplying pressure to the front. Maybe the valve to control the rear brake circuit is faulty? <shrug> Suggestions welcome (so I can sound like I know what I'm talking about when I present this to my service tech). -- Greg
