Hi Nick, I've performed the test and nothing happened. I did however test front and rear brake separately. Do I need to apply both brake same time?
Thanks, Sail >>> "nicholas.threader" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 12/03 12:25 PM >>> Hi Sail , To test your ABS you need to locate the ABS coupler, under the seat near tail light , there are two , the white one is for ABS and the black one is for EFI . Remove plastic cap by lifting tab with a small screwdriver and pulling cap out , this will reveal 4 pins , the 2 top ones nearest the tab, coloured light blue & black wires need to be connected together using a short piece of wire and two connectors . Have the ignition off when connecting up , once connected, pull front brake lever and press rear brake lever and hold on , then switch ignition on , if system is working correctly the front lever will come towards the handle bar then return under pressure to normal position once , the same should happen to the rear lever . if either do not work as described your system is faulty , try repeating the test again by turning off and then back on the ignition . If you can hear the motor spinning, but the levers aren't working as above the pump has siezed . atb Nick T --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
