If you have a local shop that you TRUST--I realize this borders on an
oxymoron, then ask their mechanics/service writers whom they might
recommend.

Gosh, come to think of it, I know a fellow to does this kind of thing.  He
has "adjusted" my aluminum brake pedals on my Concours, GTS, and RT-P so
they fit me instead of "joe factory guy".

He is located in Spencerville, MD.  His name is Mark Bailey and his company
is called Metal Specialties.  He's the ONLY one I know whom I would trust to
do aluminum welding.  You can reach him @ (301) 421-1832.  If he needs a GTS
to see, I could volunteer mine!
