I don’t think it is supposed to talk - but that may be in development...

Even a C64 could talk. In about 1984 it was my job to do the speech
for C64 ed programs. Now understanding what some says is a huge order
of magnitudes harder but still possible even now, especially if it is
just a few commands from a person it was trained with. The current
military one reads hand signs too. That might be better for a loud
battle field.

As long as the one giving the hand signs isn't Rodney (from Stargate: Atlantis). Hehe. You have to love Rodney.
