You're not making sense here, Kurt. the thread is about the logistical
problems the US might have faced against an enemy they've not fought.
Battlefield experience against the enemies they have fought has nothing to
do with that.
I assure you that fuel guzzling of the M! is a real concern to planners.
It was in reply to Brandon's comment regarding first hand accounts and
the effectiveness of the M1.
