OK, i managed to fix the older archive!
There were at least 3 different formats and some additional differences
... so that took some time.
132459 mails in the old archives (till 2003, 259MB), and
20574 mails in the newer archives (from 2003 on, 36MB).
If anybody has interest in those complete archives in mailbox format,
here are the downloads:
