I'd ignore the -4 penalty for a fighter. In Traveller, this was reappy supposed
to be for crew members on long-term starships. I'm nor sure I'd apply the -2
unless he has to make Electronic Operations (Senors) *and* Gunner rolls in the
same combat round.
I was under the assumption that you needed a sensor roll to keep active
detections, but after rereading the rules it seems i was wrong.
