In the Stargate setting, many gates are inexplicably left alone
in the wilderness, but enough stand in towns or buildings. Faux
Egyptian temples, a museum or two, the Atlantis control room,
and of course Earth buried theirs in Cheyenne Mountain.

My idea was to design TL8 vehicles around one ton empty weight
with a multi-section hull, which break down into a dozen parts
for transport. A bit like what SG-1 could have had if they
hadn't insisted infantry patrols. If required, the sections can
be hauled through a building and reassembled outside.

And a flyer with sufficiently advanced technology, to challenge
the players. It can probably smash through most walls.

Regards,
Onno
