One thing that can really help a Sci-Fi setting for moral and cramped
quarters is high quality VR and sensable media. A relatively believable
virtual walk on the beach or other recreational activity a couple hours
every day during their down time it would significantly reduce the stress
of being jammed together in real life.

Hello Kurt,

my question was how much the deck space adds to the living space. If I
think of PT-Boat-like living conditions in space, obviously I have to
add an enclosed cockpit or bridge instead of the open helm and weapons
stations on deck. But does it also need an extra lounge/ready room to
represent the deck space?

Onno
