this makes sense in context. Earlier in this thread we were talking
about WWII patrol torpedo (PT) boats as a benchmark for marginally
habitable quarters. I was not sure if the space equivalent would be a
"missile boat" or a "beam boat", so I went for the neutral "patrol boat".
