Hello,

When you connect the XT to your computer with an SD card inserted, the XT and the SD card will show up as two separate drives. The SD card will be listed as a removable disk. For instance, if your XT is drive E, look and see if you have a Removable Disk (F) listed. If so, this is probably your SD card.

Once you complete the upgrade, you can reconnect the BookSense to your computer and delete the update file from the card.

HTH

Subject: [GW-Booksense] Updating Firmware

Hi All,

I have a couple questions. I am starting the process of upgrading the
firmware. My first question is, when I down load it and then have to find
the drive of the sd card, is it the same drive as the booksense...drive e?
When I plug in my booksense with or without the sd card in it since I have
the XT I just see that it is drive e? Is this correct? I don't see an
extra drive when the sd card is connected, is this normal?

Also, it says that after I disconnect the booksense I need to plug it into
the AC adapter and do the actual upgrade. Now, do I just disconnect the SD
card after the firmware is completely upgraded?

Thanks for all your help.

Karly
