Let me offer yet another reason why it might be best taking this discussion elsewhere. This ongoing give and take may be placing GWmicro ownership and employees in a very uncomfortable position. On the onehand, it wouldn't take much to deem this give and take off-topic. On the other hand, doing so may not look good either.
GWMicro does have a beta going on, and users of 6.1 continue to have their issues. And then there are all of the other GWmicro product line. This issue isn't going to wrap up tomorrow, next week, next month, or perhaps not even next year. And "news" won't be forthcoming on an ongoing basis; nor can you hope to learn of behind-the-scene activities and all the rest. If there is enough interest, perhaps someone ought to establish a list on Yahoogroups, GoogleGroups, whatever where folks can vent, plan, commiserate, hypothesize, and whatever else such give and take may involve. There is a right and less than right place for this kind of discussion. Please keep in mind that I am not commenting on who is right or wrong in this mess; but perhaps consideration for GWmicro would dictate that all parties concerned if this discussion happened on someone else's turf.
