Some new models of 15-inch and 16-inch screens are squeezing 101-key
keyboards onto them.
Personally, I almost never use the numeric keypad so don't miss it
on my 12-inch Lenovo; which is an amazing machine to travel with.
I use the vocal-eyes keyboard layout which is far superior to the
default layout in my opinion.
I can do just about everything, with the exception of routing the
mouse pointer, without taking my hands off the home row.

I am using an HP Pavilion with 17" screen and full keyboard. I
really like it. This is my second one, and it has worked out the
best for me. As Raul mentioned, the best thing to do is try them at
a local electronics store. With HP, you can pretty much customize
whatever you want from a laptop by going to
<http://www.hp.com>www.hp.com. The 17" models are the only ones
they make that have a full keyboard, unless you go with something
larger such as their 21" monsters they used to sell. It is
definitely heavy to carry around, and less battery power than most
laptops. But, the full size keyboard certainly makes up for that.

Hi,
A friend of mine has an HP Pavilian laptop with the full
keyboard. The screen is very large for those who use screen
enlargement. It would definitely take some muscle to lug
around. Perhapse the battery life has changed, but, this one chews
through its battery in about 90 minutes. I like how the keyboard feeels.

Can anyone recommend a good source for laptops with standard desktop
type keyboards?
