Okay, I just didn't want the impression that Window-Eyes was limited to 9 placemarkers because it isn't. But I guess our logic was if you have more then 9 placemarkers you aren't likely to remember their number index but you can use the listbox to search for the name of the marker.

Doug Thanks! I was hoping for something simpler than what you outlined as I am already familiar with those capabilities. So, to restate my suggested enhancement, I would like the number of potential
hotkeys increased from 9.

Thanks!

Mike,

There are a few ways:

1) You can just hit K to go to the next placemarker or shift-K to go to the
previous. This will go through all of them regardless of how many you have
setup.

2) You could press control-shift-K to bring up the Placemarkers dialog, select
the placemarker you want from the Names list box and press Alt-J to jump to
that one.

3) You could press insert-tab to bring up the page navigation dialog, press
alt-M for placemarkers, select the one you want and hit enter.

Doug

ok. Now for the follow-up question:

how would I get at those additional place markers? I note, when creating
them, I have to give them a jump number between 1 and 9. So if I can
conveniently get to more than 9 on a page, how would I set them up and get
to them?

Also, returning to my initial point: I'd like to see "those very special"
marker number increased beyond 9.

Mike,

You can already have an unlimited number of placemarkers. The count you
are
referring to is simply for the jump to specific placemarker hotkey.
Meaning
you can type 5J and be on placemarker 5. So you can consider these 9 as
very
special placemarkers. But you can have an unlimited number of them.

Good morning GWMicro!

I have grown to appreciate the value of the new place marker feature in
WE7
and have, not surprisingly, found plenty of uses for it. Right now,
About
my only real complaint is that one is limited to 9 in the number of
place
markers that can be created.
The reason for this post is my hope that in a future upgrade of WE that
this
number can be increased.
So take this as an enhancement request for lack of a better term.
