Doug Let me explain why I'd like that number increased above 9.
One of the implementations I have made with markers is for use on a portfolio display page. I use hotkeys for specific stock symbols, another for portfolio value, another for market indicators,and so on. So 9 isn't really all that much particularly if you would like to place mark a whole bunch of ticker symbols. So to quickly check a price, I do a page refresh followed by a hotkey. Previously to place markers, I used the find key combo to do the search. Obviously, place markers perform far faster than using the find command. Memorizing place marker numbers would become second-nature akin to knowing that msft = microsoft or that wmt = Walmart. So, if I defined wmt as 968, ideally I'd like to be able to type "968j" and be taken there. Incidentally, I came up with 968 as a potential hotkey for WMT based on where the letters w, m, and t are on a touchtone phone pad. So memorization, in this instance, would be no big deal other than translating the ticker symbol letters appropriately.
