I really find it interesting that all of a sudden there is such a push for
64 bit Window-Eyes. And, it seems very interesting that the only ones
really pushing for 64 bit WE are the big techie folks. The problem is that
there is a lot of other things in the 32 bit release that are needed to be
taken care of before running of to tackle 64 bit Window-Eyes.
For those of you pushing so hard for 64 bit Window-Eyes the question is have
you looked to see how many applications will actually work in the 64 bit
environment. I think you are going to be very disappointed to find out that
the majority of the Windows XP and Windows Vista applications are not going
to run on 64 bit EWindows.
Instead of insisting on 64 bit Window-Eyes it would seem to be better to get
WE 7 working with apps like Quicken, MS Money, MS Access 2007, and a whole
host of other widely used applications that blind folks need access to at a
lot higher number of people than those who absolutely need 64 bit Windows
with the limited number of apps that will work in the 64 bit environment.

Someone mentioned support for 64 bit.

I know one thing if there is a company running 64 bit software that nocks

blind person right out of a job just simply because they can't use the 64

That would be ashamed.
Who knows the system and applications could be 100 percent accessible that
is if you had a screen reader that worked with a 64 bit system.
I don't mean to sound pessimistic but any more I just can't help it.
Some times it is vary discouraging.
By the way the other big screen reader don't support 64 bit either.

Nope, but what a powerful tool indeed.
As Aaron said, stay uned, smile. Some enterprising author is working on

script for java support. I do agree with Cory and hope that a script can

incorporated into future versions of Window-eyes.
