ok, here is my point. When I, or most folks, express their views as to what improvements or direction a product should go, it is usually based on our individual desires rather than that of a prodeuct's entire current and potential customer base. GWMicro, as most other successful businesses, can, of course, take what is said here and incorporate it into the total picture. Keep in mind that they have many resources to synthesize from including a msg board, phone calls received, emails received, experience of its employees and owners, insights gained from workshops and other meetings, what other screen reader manufacturers are doing, the media, the general direction software and hardware is headed, and so one and so forth. It is fortunate for all of us that WE has gone the direction it has rather than just listening to opinions as part of keeping a product on top is anticipating what users may require long before the users realize it. Perhaps once in a blue moon my opinion has some merit; but the vast amount of time it is worth what Gw Micro paid for it -- absolutely nothing. And that is the way it ought to be as Doug, Dan and crew have far greater insights than I will ever have and, moreover, they live with the consequences of their decisions and I, as a user, don't live with them permanently. I never thought what I said was intended to belittle anyone or give my views any greater credence than anyone elses. My apologies if anyone took it in the way it was never intended.
