Good point about what keys may be missing on a 15x inch laptop with
full keyboards including the number pad. And battery life is always
important as well. However I know that both the Asus and the Acer
have such a configurations.

You should check out the expected battery life. The full-sized
keyboards usually came on pcs with a short battery life because they
were large, and I guess high performance desktop replacements. 15 inch
sounds like a good screen size though.
The other things to checkout is the placement of the arrow keys, the six
pack keys, and the modifiers to see that they are on both sides of the
keyboard. Make sure they didn't get the room for the numeric pad by
shorting you these various keys.
