Turned on is fine. It's when it is turned off it's a problem. I really don't care, just wish they would fix it.

You are making the common logical judgment fallacy that just because something causes you a difficulty; removing it resolves all and doesn't place even greater problems. Different pages respond differently on the toggling between browse mode on and off; and so do specific boxes on a page occasionally. What's nice about browse mode, when it is turned on as far as boxes and edit fields go, is that you can see exactly what info is inputted without concern that you might accidentally modify it. Yes, I have experienced that frustration that you have too; however, just removing browse mode isn't going to make life peachy keen either. If it is to be replaced, it has to be with something that resolves a problem without removing the benefits browse mode and its commands afford. Most of us power users would not be too happy seeing other capabilities removed just to resolve the edit box issue. Just as obedience to the Lord is an indication of our love for him, so is it also a proof of ourfear of God.
