I'm having similar issues with 7.1 using XP home and i.e. 7, but my problems are far fewer now than they were with 7.0 or 7.01. Sometimes it just loses speech and by alt-tabbing around I can sometimes get it back. I'm using eloquence. I tried the Dectalk but I come up with the same problems, possibly not quite as often but often enough that I always switch back to Eloquence since I find it clearer.
Gail I see the same things. I thought it was just that they really didn’t do a good job testing with vista 64, but window-eyes 7.1 really should not have been released so quickly. It’s definitely not as stable as 7.01.
