Since I dont need this option (and actually its not available to me in
Outlook), I dont know what options there are. But from reading Help, one
can in fact set options to send the auto responses to certain people. Its
just too much bother tho. But one could always reply to the auto responses
and fill the sender's inbox. They may get the point. Then again, they may
not.

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to
others.

Subject: RE: What's with All the Out of Office Autoreplies?
Evan and all,
I've seen them too. There are people who are out of town and have their
out
of office assistant on in their E-mail program, usually Outlook. They
have
also failed to unsubscribe from any lists they are on, usually from their
work E-mail. I would appreciate it if people would unsubscribe if they
are
going to be out of the office for any period of time which requires them
to
turn on their out of office assistant. It saves everyone from a few extra
messages. I also believe that allowing this to happen is considered bad
netiquette but can't say for sure. It seems discourteous to me at least.
Thanks.
