In dealing with "out of office" messages, it might be easier to set up a rule 
where that note gets automatically sent to a deleted items or trash folder. 
many E-mail clients come with such an option. It does require some investment 
in learning how to do it. Another option I find useful is using the block 
senders feature or junk E-mail features to get rid of any such messages from 
those people that consistently send items that are of little to no interest to 
me. I realise that I run the risk in that someone might be sending me the 
answer I want or provide a nugget of information that would be valuable. 
However I am willing to live with those circumstances.
 
In my case a solution that I can implement myself usually works very well and 
is more timely. And as one who enjoys sloth it takes less effort than if I try 
to convince others to solve the problem for me. Last, regardless of what 
keyboard layout I use, the delete key quickly becomes one of my best friends.
