Yes, moving quickly between windows or doing rapid cutting and pasting to
compose emails with quoted text seems to close the speech down for a
considerable time.  Sometimes it comes back, others I have to close w-e and
restart it.

using w-e 7.11, XP Pro,  and Dolhin external sythesiser.
