Yes, moving quickly between windows or doing rapid cutting and pasting to compose emails with quoted text seems to close the speech down for a considerable time. Sometimes it comes back, others I have to close w-e and restart it.
using w-e 7.11, XP Pro, and Dolhin external sythesiser. Ray. das wrote: In my case, with xp pro and version 7.11 of win eyes, on one computer, speech starts ok, on the other speech does not start. Both start up options are the same. However, I can gain speech by windows d or m. Also, I can lose speech as I move too quickly from one operation to another. Exiting from one and trying to start another too quick. In this case, I need to reboot. In some cases, if I wait, speech will come back.
