Hi, are you sure this is a window-eyes problem and not some program that is not working correctly. Generally when I see speech loss I can usually pen it down on a program not working correctly. You will note this happens with every screen reader on the market. I am not saying there are no window-eyes problems but so far most of what I have found is the program stops speaking when some other program is not working correctly. I really think a system of automatically checking the state of window-eyes and restarting it if there is a problem is the best solution to this issue. Also it would be nice if instead of being told window-eyes is already running and the ding sound if window-eyes could be made to check it's status and reload itself when the program was started.

Just lost it opening windows mail, tried going into wineyes control panel and unloading and reloading, but nothing, close windows mail, and speech came back a few seconds later. I've lost speech while multi tasking in different apps too. __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 4483 (20091006) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
