I lose speech occasionally with W-E 7.11 on Windows XP home but it's a lot better than it has been with 7.0, 7.01 or 7.1 and I can usually get it back. Occasionally all I can do is reboot. I haven't tried the scripts to shut W-E down and restart it. Gail
